YOUR TATTOO INK

Your tattoo ink should have been deposited in your 2nd layer of skin tissue (DERMIS) which is under your 1st or top layer of skin tissue (EPIDERMIS

THE TATTOO REMOVAL MACHINE

The tattoo removal machine’s RED HOT laser beam burns through the 1st layer of skin… ouch!

It is kind of like a burn… 1st, 2nd, 3rd degree burns.

Then the red hot laser beam ZAPS the tattoo ink in your 2nd layer of skin.

It actually blows apart the tattoo ink into tiny little ink fragments. Your body’s natural immune system will absorb and flush out the ink through your body’s elimination system.

As the laser beam breaks through the 1st layer of skin (EPIDERMIS), the tattoo ink breaks up into fragments in the 2nd layer of skin (DERMIS).

THEN the fragmented ink passes through your 3rd section of skin (HYPODERMIS) and your body flushes it through your lymphatic elimination system.

You may ask… Where does the blow apart fragmented tattoo ink go?

Well I will gladly tell ya…

YOUR WHITE BLOOD CELLS

Your white blood cells attack the fragmented ink and it is eliminated naturally through your body’s lymphatic system and endocrine system.
(The body does the same ‘toxin flush’ when you have a cold, infection, or are sick. Your body wants to remove the toxins, germs, and bacteria.)

DRINKING LOTS OF WATER WILL HELP YOU FLUSH INK AND TOXINS FROM YOUR BODY

Your body can only absorb so much of the fragmented ink at a time. So, large tattoos are broken down into smaller sections.

HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE TO HEAL

Depending on the tattoo size and the ability your body has to heal itself will determine how many treatments may be required.

The degree of fading and treatments needed will depend on your body chemistry, your health and your tattoo.

REMOVING TATTOO COVER UPS

If you have a tattoo and tried to cover it up with another tattoo and that tattoo cover up was crap, that is a whole lotta layers of ink to break down and for your body to remove.

Many layers of ink on top of ink, sometimes will only break down and fragment so much because it is a tattoo over a tattoo and the ink is TOO deep in your 3rd layer of skin.

TATTOO INK IN THE 3RD LAYER OF SKIN

If tattoo ink is in the 3rd layer of skin, your tattoo will feel bumpy or look like a scar or the inked skin looks shiny and different.

Several treatments may be needed to obtain the desired level of tattoo lightening or removal.

REMOVING BLACK VS COLOR INK

Black ink fades the fastest. Some colours will only fade.

PAIN AND BLEEDING

Sometimes when the tattoo ink has been deposited into the 3rd layer of skin the laser beam can cause bleeding. It is painful, but only when the laser zaps the ink and it only lasts seconds.

An ointment will be applied on skin after the treatment.
